On Saturday March 25, staff from the Barwon South West Public Health Unit attended the Geelong Rainbow Festival and Pride March.
The team offered Mpox vaccinations at a pop-up clinic, and teams from Barwon Health's Palliative Care, Carer Support, Speech Pathology and the Gender Affirming Voice Training also attended the fair with information about their respective services.
The event was a great opportunity to reduce barriers to vaccination access, and offer vaccinations and information in safe, supportive environment.
