Cancer Services Trials Unit - Katherine Snowden

Background

Prior to my appointment at Barwon Health, I worked at a number of institutions in Sydney including Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) and The Chris O’Brien Lifehouse. My roles at The Chris O’Brien Lifehouse included Director of Pharmacy and Senior Pharmacist of the Investigational Medicines Unit (Clinical Trials). During my time at RPAH and Lifehouse, I was a member of the Clinical Research Scientific Sub-Committee of the Human Research and Ethics Committee for the local district.

Research Focus Katherine Snowden about me

In my current role, I work across both medical oncology and haematology trials.  This is a consistently changing space with drug development moving at a rapid pace.  I am particularly interested in immunotherapy trials as I was lucky enough to be involved in the early immunotherapy trials in the melanoma space.
