Careers in Audiology

The Barwon Health Audiology Department offers a wide range of diagnostic audiology services to patients of all ages (from newborn to the elderly) within a tertiary hospital setting. As one of the largest diagnostic audiology services in Victo-ria, we have a passionate and dedicated team of 12 audiologists and 3 allied health assistants working across multiple sites, including the University Hospital Geelong, McKellar Centre, Barwon North and Colac Area Health.

We deliver standalone outpatient, inpatient and telehealth services (working closely alongside our Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists) and also within a variety of multidisciplinary teams including paediatricians, physiotherapists and other allied health professionals. Working with us you will be exposed to a wide, varied and unique caseload, providing you with the opportunity to hone your diagnostic skills and contribute to research in the clinical setting to enhance patient out-comes.

With a supportive and friendly culture, quality training program, and service provision focusing on high-quality patient-centered care, our staff are happy and satisfied in their roles. Come join us at the Barwon Health Audiology Department
