Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Services


Barwon Health provides 24 hour PUBLIC inpatient and community Mental Health, Drug  and Alcohol Services to the Barwon region.  All age groups are provided with a range of specialist treatment options.  For details regarding each service description and referral process refer to the menu options available. 

 

The Barwon region has a range of PRIVATE and Non-Government mental health treatment options available, which includes private inpatient and community services, general practitioners, allied health providers, and a range of Psychiatric Disability Rehabilitation and Support options.

Urgent Referrals

 

For urgent mental health concerns the following should be considered for support:

If you have an existing mental health case manager or drug and alcohol clinican contact them directly.
